Bryn Mawr, PA| Haverford traveled to Rosemont College to take on Rosemont Women's Basketball in Alumnae Hall.
How it Happened:
Rosemont win the tip-off, from there is was a defensive battle on both sides. Haverford scored first while their defense continued to hound the Rosemont offense holding them scoreless in the first quarter. Coach Kristen Devine head coaching today for Coach Christina Floyd was able to make some offensive changes and get on the board to start the second quarter. Rosemont would score 8 points in the second while Haverford scored 22 bringing the halftime score to 45-8 in favor of Haverford.
The Second half Haverford would come out with the same defensive intensity as they did to start the game holding the Ravens offense to just two points in the third. Rosemont would seem to find their offensive stride in the fourth quarter as they did not give up and fought hard despite the deficit. Led by
Mojisola Shokeye who had 10 points in the contest followed by
Myora Slaughter who also had 9 rebounds. The final score was 80 Haverford -Â 22 Rosemont.
What's Next:
The Women's Basketball team will travel to Connecticut this weekend to play in the Courtyard by Marriott Classic.
