Radnor, PA| Rosemont Traveled down the road to Radnor to take on the Local Cabrini Cavaliers
How it Happened:
Rosemont won the tip taking the first possession of the game, unable to convert and set the tone. Cabrini capitalized taking an early 11-2 lead forcing Rosemont to call and early timeout to recollect. Rosemont would chip away coming out of the time out cutting into the lead and maintaining through their consistent offensive scoring. Trailing by six (25-19) with 8 minutes remaining in the half, each team would make lineup changes as Rosemont made a run tying up the game 30-30, only trailing by one going into the half 33-32. The second half, neither team had problems scoring the ball. Rosemont would eclipse a seven point lead coming out of the half as Cabrini immediately cut into that lead with a 3 of their own, then taking the lead by three with a 10-0 run. Rosemont would not give up and continue to fight as they would regain the lead with a run of their own 58-57 with seven minutes remaining in the second half. Cabrini would nudge ahead, and maintain the lead for the remainder of the second half holding off Rosemont's late game run. The final from Radnor was 78-74. Rosemont was lead by
Denelle Holly with 22 points followed by
Dejuan Taylor with 15 and
Zaki Gomez with 13.
