The Rosemont Ravens (9-11, 2-3) lost two games on the road to Wilson College on Sunday,
April 2.
Starting pitcher Zach Nutley went three strong innings to open the game and fellow sophomore
Ryan McDonough pitched a scoreless 7 th in the Game 1 loss. First baseman
Ethan Wood had
three hits in this first game along with three RBI. Wood and short-stop
Luke Franklin each had a
double in the game.
Game two ended in a 11-9 loss for the Ravens despite falling behind early in the game.
Sophomore
Brett Angelillo pitched four innings in relief, surrendering just one run while striking
out four.
The Ravens had four doubles in Game 2, which came off the bats of Wood,
Derek Shillingsford,
Connor Cook and
Samson Gerner. Left-fielder
Julian Albanese had a big 2-RBI hit, and the
doubles from Shillingsford and Cook each drove in two runs as well.
The Ravens host Wilson in the final game of the conference series on Monday, April 3 rd for a
3:00pm game. The game will be played at Heuser Park, but Rosemont will be the away team.
Eastern University then visits Heuser Park on Tuesday, April 4 th for a 6:30pm game under the
lights.
