The Rosemont Raven (15-15, 7-6) dropped the opening game of the CSAC series on the road to Cairn 10-1 on Thursday, April 27.  Starting pitcher David McKinney took the loss despite pitching four strong innings.  Senior captain Michael Denton tossed two shutout innings in relief and freshman Larson Greenlee pitched a scoreless final frame for the Ravens.

The Ravens' offense was able to collect 7 walks and two hit by pitches in the game.  The lone RBI came off the bat of Jamen Palladino in the 3^rd inning when he doubled home senior captain Colin McCormick.

The Ravens will host Cairn for a double-header to complete the conference series.  The games are scheduled for Saturday, April 29^th at Heuser Park.
