The Rosemont Women's Volleyball team traveled to Reading PA, to take on Alvernia in a home match.
How it Happened:
Avernia came out hot in this match opening up the first set 4-1. The Ravens kept it within striking distance as they found themselves down 12-8, Alvernia caught fire as they expanded the lead to 24-12 before Rosemont stuck back with 5 points of their own. Their efforts were not enough as they fell in in the first set 25-17 (1). The second set was all Alvernia as it was 4-1 when they rattled off 19 straight points to secure the set 25-2 (2). The third set, Rosemont seemed to find their groove after Alvernia kept the momentum from the second set. They rallied to 11-4 after being down 9 off the start of the set, but fell 25-12 (3).
What's Next:
Rosemont will host Penn State Brandywine next Wednesday at 4pm in the Community Center as they look to secure their first win. Come show out and support your Ravens!
