Penn State Brandywine Traveled to the Rosemont Athletic Complex to Take on the Girl's Soccer Team.
How it Happened:
From kickoff on the pitch, it was a physical battle between the two squads, but both teams managed to avoid any cards in the match. Rosemont started the offensive pressure holding the Nittany Lions on their side of the field, keeping the defense on their heels. An error by Penn States defense lead to an own goal in the 7',
Cassidy Smith got the momentum started for the Lady Raven's in the 25'. Bradywine made defensive changes and the first half ended 2-0 Rosemont. The second half was all Rosemont as
Sarah Warner came out with a hot foot scoring two goals (56' assisted by
Deaglan McClenahan, and 77' assisted by
Kassidy Phillips). Rena Kotsedakis scored her first colligate goal in the 63' breaking off a great assist from
Katherine Baysinger. The team won 5-0 in what was a great team win lead by the offense and supported by the tremendous defense.
What's Next:
Rosemont will travel to Morristown, NJ to take on Saint Elizabeth University.
