Bryn Mawr College Owl's traveled down the road to Rosemont College to take on the Lady Raven's in a volleyball match in the Hirsh Community Center.
How it Happened:
The Owl's came out in the match hot scoring the first five points of set one, while it was back and forth through the middle of the set. Rosemont made it 12-9 at a point but Bryn Mawr again found their spots on the court and won the first set 25-15. The second set was alot of great rallies as Bryn Mawr took the lead out the gate but Rosemont crawled back to lead the set 13-12 at a time. Bryn Mawr's attack was too strong as they took the second set 25-19. The girls made adjustments moving into the third set as the lead moved back and forth through the beginning of the set, Rosemont capitalized on a five point run to get their lead to 17-12 and never gave it back winning the third set lead by phenomenal serving from Erika Knapp 25-16. The 4th set was all Bryn Mawr as they took the lead early and took off winning the fourth and final set 25-13.
What's Next:
The volleyball team will travel to Messiah University to compete in a double header against Lebanon Valley and Messiah.
