Clarks Summit, PA| The Raven's Traveled to Clarks Summit to play in an United East Matchup at Clarks Summit University.
How it Happened:
From Huckaby gym, the Ravens were able to get on the board early and score the first basket of regulation. As the first few minutes of the game ticked along, both teams traded back and forth as the game was tied at 13 seven minutes into the first half. from here the Ravens would go on a 5-0 run that led to a timeout from Clarks Summit. They countered with a 6-0 run for the defenders as they took the lead 19-18. As the first half came to an end both teams exchanged baskets in the final minute of the half, to tie the game at 28 as the first half came to a close.
The second half Clarks Summit came out hot on their home court as they took a small lead on the Ravens. Rosemont fought hard as they tied the game back up at 39 with twelve minutes remaining. The Ravens would have good offensive possessions and limited their turnover ratio, leading to more shots. This gave the Ravens a four point lead with four minutes remaining. Clarks Summit would go on a 7-0 run to gain the lead 67-65 as a layup from Freshman
Brian Mordi tied the game with a minute remaining. Clarks Summit would have a possession with a tied game missing a three giving Rosemont a chance with 20 seconds remaining.
Dejuan Taylor was fouled with 1 second remaining as he knocked down a Free Throw to give the Ravens the lead 68-67 winning the game.Â
