Bryn Mawr, PA| Bryn Atyn Traveled to Rosemont College to take Place in an United East Matchup
How it Happened:
From the jump Bryn Athyn got out to a short lead before Rosemont was able to rally by scoring inside the paint bringing the game back taking the lead 11-10. This lead was short but Rosemont was able to hang with Bryn Athyn until they caught fire with about 6 minutes remaining in the half. Bryn Athyn shot 75% from 3pt range making nine in the first half taking a big lead on Rosemont late in the half 52-29. The second half Rosemont came out with their defense on fire they were able to climb back into the came right out of the half by getting stops and scoring on consecutive possessions. Rosemont would find themselves down seven 62-55 with six minutes remaining in regulation. Bruce Black made big shots as he was crucial in the Ravens comeback. Yet, the Ravens fell short of what would have been a phenomenal comeback as Bryn Athyn held on winning the game 81-66.
Rosemont was led by Dejuan Taylor with 15 points followed by Bruce Black with 14 points, Zaki Gomez also had 10 Rebounds in the game leading the Ravens in rebounds.
