Bryn Mawr, Pa| Marywood Traveled to Rosemont to take on the Ravens in their home Court over the Holiday Break.
How it Happened:
From the jump, Marywood got out and scored on their opening two possessions to take a 4-0 lead. Rosemont would battle early tying the game back up 6-6 and taking the lead 10-6 on the back of a 10-2 run to start off the first quarter. Marywood would catch fire to end the quarter, ending on a 12-2 run to hold a ten point lead at the end of the first 22-12. They would extend upon that run into the second quarter as they improved upon their lead in a high scoring second quarter. Both teams would combine for over 35 points as Marywood leads going into the half, 49-27. The scoring for Marywood would continue as Rosemont could nopt find a stop for their offensive ball movement. The 3rd quarter qould be all Marywood as they improved upon their lead. The fourth Rosemont was able to slow down the Marywood offensive and turn some of that defense into offense as they put up some points of their own. The final score from Alumnae hall was 95-50. rosemont was led by Player of the week Lakay Holloway as she scoring 19 followed by Mojisola Shokeye with 12.
