How it Happened:
From the jump, Rosemont was able to develop their inside presence scoring their first ten from inside the paint or from the charity stripe. Bryn Athyn started with an outside attack, but shifted to mid-range as they found success through the first half. Rosemont was unable to keep up with the volume of scoring from Bryn Athyn as they mounted a 10 point lead midway through the first half. They held that lead through the half as the halftime score was 40-28 for the Lions.Â
Coming out of the lockerroom for the second half, Rosemont was able to score on back to back possessions cutting the Lions lead to just eight. Rosemont would hang around as the two teams exchanged buckets. Rosemont was unable to develop the 3pt shot shooting 0-16 through the game. If they could have gotten a few of those to fall, this would have been a different game coming down the stretch.
