Rosemont, PA| The Ravens welcomed Bryn Athyn College in game one of the Double Header for Rosemont Men's and Women's Soccer.
How it Happened:
The Ravens were on top of their game scoring 6 goals in route to a 6-0 win over Bryn Athyn. Early on in the match the Ravens would get ahead with a goal by
Savien Castro in the 5'. The Ravens spent most of the game with possession putting pressure on Bryn Athyn's goalie. They were able to get 18 total shots off throughout the course of the match. In the 20'
Timothy Kane would put the Ravens up 2 after a goal off the assist by
Aiden Sommers. Momentum was on the Ravens side, and it showed. In the 26'
Mason Quinton was subbed in and just a few minutes later made an impact, scoring a goal in the 33' minute to put the Ravens up by 3 before the half.
The scoring was slow coming out of the half with no activity until the 75' when the Ravens fifth goal of the night was scored off the foot of Nicholas Lachcawiec and was assisted by
Aiden Sommers. There looked to be no fight from Bryn Athyn as they were still struggling to move downfield with possession of the ball. They had very little opportunities for goals as they had just 2 attempted shots. After a shot being saved a couple minutes prior,
Matthew McFadden got another chance and scored the sixth goal for the Ravens in the 87'. It was a great win for the Ravens as they bounced back from their loss over the weekend.
What's Next:
They now set their sights for Saturday where they will travel to Maryland to take on NDMU at 1pm. Go Ravens!
