Baltimore, MD| The Ravens traveled to ND of Maryland to take on the Gator on their Home turf in an United East Matchup.
How it Happened:
Gunner Hoffman started in goal for the Ravens as they kicked of this United East Matchup versus Notre Dame.
Early transitions for the Ravens giving them early chances in this game were negated by offside calls. The first half was back and forth with both team seeing chances to score, but were unable to convert on their shot attempts. Two shots came from Sophomore Justin Tomas with also shots by
Savien Castro, Sean Millelli, and
Nicholas Lachawiec, with the half coming to an end 0-0.
The second half the Ravens brought back out their starters. An early goal for the Gators would put the Ravens behind 1-0 to start the half at 47'. Sean Milleli would tie up the contest with a Penalty Kick after being fouled in the box 1-1 at 64'. A scoring parade would take place as the Gators would respond with another goal from a penalty kick at 66', taking a 2-1 advantage. The Ravens would respond as
Savien Castro would score right off the kickoff for the Ravens tying up the contest again 2-2 at 67'. The Ravens would continue to push their offense as
Mason Quinton would find the back of the net for the Ravens to give them a 3-2 with an assist from
John Dinoto at 72'. The Ravens would hold onto the one oal lead for the rest of the 90' as they squeaked out the victory over Notre Dame or Maryland 3-2.
