Factoryville, PA| Rosemont Ravens Volleyball Traveled to Keystone College to take on the Giants in a United East Conference Matchup.
How it Happened:
The Ravens would grab an early 2-1 lead over the Giants with a kill from
Madeline McCarthy and a Service Ace from
Fiona Hyland. The Giants would go on a run taking a 9-3 lead over the Ravens. A kill by
Maria Harrison would slow the Giants momentum down but not enough as they fell in the first set 25-10.
The second set the Ravens would find themselves with another early lead coming from a
Fiona Hyland Ace and back to back Aces followed by a Kill for
Madeline McCarthy. The Giants would respond with a run giving Keystone a large lead in the second set.
Madeline McCarthy would tally another Ace at the end of the set but the Ravens would lose the second 25-11.
The third set started with another ace from
Fiona Hyland followed by a
Madeline McCarthy kill and ace to give the Ravens an early lead in the set. Keystone would go on a seven point run to take an 8-3 lead. Rosemont would respond tying up the game 10-10 with kills from
Fiona Hyland and
Pearl Smith. Back and forth through the remainder of the set,
Fiona Hyland would find back to back service aces, along with another three in a row from
Jana Ehnot to bring the set within one point at 19-20. Keystone would go on a small run to close out the final set 21-25 as the Ravens fell on the road to the Keystone Giants.

Rosemont will play their last game of the season at home this Saturday November 2nd at 1pm in the Hirsh Community Center. Go Ravens!
