Rosemont, PA| Rosemont Women's Basketball Hosted Penn State Lehigh Valley On Monday November 11th at 6pm in Alumnae Hall for a Veterans Day Contest.
How it Happened:
Starting for the ravens was #4 Da'naijah Wise, #9 Emily Rossino, #13 Aniya McDaniel, #21 Yanae Edwards, and #24 Olivia Hamme.

The Ravens would get out to an early lead with the first five points of the game scored by Aniya McDaniel. Continuing to build their lead to 9-3 with four consecutive points from Da'naijah Wise the Ravens would continue to pressure forcing early fouls from the Lady Lions. Rosemont would lead at the end of the first quarter 14-11.
Da'Naijah and Aniya would keep the scoring going to start the 2nd to extend the Ravens lead 18-13. The Lady Lions would battle taking the lead from the Ravens at half 24-22.
Aniya would tie the game at 24-24 coming out of the half as Rosemont would force early pressure to capture the lead with a jumper from Emily Rossino 29-26. Back and forth through the 3rd quarter with multiple lead changes, Aniya McDaniel would bring the Ravens down three (37-40) with 0:37 seconds remaining in the 3rd. Penn State would add three more to their lead 43-37.
Rosemont would cut the lead to five with a foul shot from Aniya with 1:09 remaining but the Ravens would fall to the Lady Lions 53-44.

Rosemont will travel to Bryn Mawr College to take on the Golden Eagles in their Home Gym at 7pm on Wednesday November 13th. Go Ravens!
