Rosemont, PA| Rosemont Men's Soccer took on Rutgers Camden on the Ravens Grey following the Women's Game versus Immaculata.
How it Happened:
Under the lights,
Gunner Hoffman started between the posts for the Ravens. Rosemont was able to get out to a fast start finding early shots on goal by
Sean Milelli and Jayakanthan Lorenzo, although they did not find the back of the net, it put pressure on the Scarlet Raptors defense early.
Aiden Sommers would also find two shots on goal in the 13' and 14', Rosemont's defense would continue to hold Rutgers to contested and blocked shots keeping the pressure of of
Gunner Hoffman in the first half as
Sean Rodriguez and
Tai Torres helped on the back-line. The first half would end 0-0,
The Second half the Scarlet Raptors made early offensive adjustments as they would take a 1-0 advantage in the 56' after controlling for a majority to start the half. Off the kickoff a foul by Rutgers Camden would set up a free kick for the Ravens taken by
Sean Milelli. He would put a great ball in the box to find
Tai Torres with a fantastic right foot that would find the back of the net with velocity to tie up the match for the Ravens.
Gunner Hoffman would make clutch saves coming down the stretch for the ravens to hold the game tied 1-1. Thr Ravens offense was able to get a few more shots but were unable to covert as the game end an 1-1 draw.Â
