Rosemont, PA| Rosemont Women's Soccer Hosted Albright College for their second home game of the year.
How it Happened:
Rosemont would get the first shot and corner of the game setting the pace. Shots by
Cassidy Smith and
Kassidy Phillips saved by the Albright goalkeeper in the first 10 minutes of the game. A few fouls were committed in the first half but no Cards. Albright would take a 1-0 advantage over the Ravens on the 20'. Momentum would not shift the ravens way this half as Albright added another goal ath the end of the 41', extending their lead to 2-0 at the half.
The second half the ravens made adjustments to Albrights defense as they were able to find the back of the net for the teams first goal of the Season. The goal would come from
Erin McLaughlin, this would be her first collegiate goal, bringing the Ravens within one goal (2-1). Two yellow cards would go against Albright giving the Ravens some momentum but that was shutdown by a yellow card for the ravens in the box that would lead to a converted PK for Albright, extending their lead to 3-1. The ravens would have a couple more opportunities to score but were unable to convert, falling to the Albright Lions 3-1.

Rosemont will travel to Penn State Schuylkill on Saturday the 7th at 12pm. Go Ravens!
