Reading, PA | The Lady Raven's Traveled to Reading to take on Penn State Berks for a United East Conference in Their Home Gym.
How it Happened: Starting for the Ravens was #01 Alona Stanley, #04 Da'naijah Wise, #10 TeKira Knox-Wagner, #13 Aniya McDaniel, and #24 Olivia Hamme.
Aniya McDaniel would get the scoring started for the Ravens early with a layup, followed by a jumper by
Olivia Hamme to give Rosemont the early lead. The Nittany Lions would respond with an eleven point run to take the lead from the Ravens as they would trail by four points going into the second quarter (12-16).
The Ravens would move the ball well through the second quarter finding open looks from
Da'naijah Wise and
Mojisola Shokeye. Rosemont would score thirteen in the quarter as they would enter the half trailing by ten (25-35).Â
The Nittany Lions would come out in the second half on fire to start the third,
Aniya McDaniel would start to cut into the Nittany Lions lead with five consecutive points followed by a layup from
Mojisola Shokeye. The Ravens would cut the deficit to single digits late in the third with a free throw from Wise as they would enter the fourth trailing by twelve.Â
The Ravens would cut the Nittany Lions lead down to eight points early in the fourth with ten points from
Mojisola Shokeye to start the fourth (52-60). The Nittany Lions would close out the game on a 18-9 run as Rosemont fell to Penn State Berks 61-78.
MojiSola Skokeye would lead the Ravens in her first game off the bench with 20 points and 9 rebounds, followed by Da'naijah Wise with 18 points and Aniya McDaniel with 16 points and 6 rebounds.

The Ravens will return home on Wednesday January 22nd, as they take on Saint Elizabeth University in Alumnae Hall at 6pm.
