Rosemont, PA| The Rosemont Ravens Welcomed Penn State Abington to the Hirsh Community Center to Celebrate Officials Appriciation Day in Collaberation with the United East Conference.
How it Happened:
In the first set, The Ravens trailed 1-6 before a 5-2 run for the Ravens led by
Lori Shorten with an Ace and an Assist to
Pearl Smith for a kill. Trailing 6-11 the Ravens would have another run with
Jana Ehnot finding two services Aces. The Ravens would fall in the first set 9-25.
In the second set, The Ravens would get on the board first and hold a 2-1 lead following a kill from
Pearl Smith. The Nittany Lions would rally to take the lead over the Ravens but Smith would shine in this set scoring four points in the set for the Ravens as they fell 9-25.
Jana Ehnot would lead off the third set with a kill assisted by
Pearl Smith to give the Ravens an early lead. Smith would find a kill of her own assisted by
Mikalya Moffatt as they trailed 2-3. The Lady Lions would get in a groove as the captured the third set over the Ravens 4-25.
Leading the way for the Ravens was Pearl Smith with four kills along with Jana Ehnot and Mikayla Moffatt with four digs a piece.
What's Next?
The Ravens will Travel to Lancaster Bible College this Tuesday October 14th to take on the Chargers in their home gym. Game will set off at 7pm. Go Ravens!
