Langhorne, PA| The Rosemont Ravens Travled to Cairn University for an United East Matchup in Their Home Gym.
How it Happened:
The Ravens fell behind early in the first set as the Highlanders set the pace.
Pearl Smith would log two kills in the first set, one assisted by Mikayla Moffatt, but the ladies would fall 9-25. In the second set,
Pearl Smith would find another kill but Cairns offense would overmatch the Ravens as they fell 3-25. The Ravens would not give up in the third set, as the trailed 0-3, Rosemont would rally to bring the game within one point. The Ravens rally was not enough as Cairn would pull away in the final set 14-25.
Leading the way for the Ravens was
Pearl Smith with five kills, followed by Mikayla Moffatt with six digs.
What's Next?
The Ravens will be on the road this Wednesday October 8th as they travel to Washington D.C. to play Gallaudet University. The game will start at 7:00 PM. Go Ravens!
