Rosemont, PA| The Rosemont Ravens Men's Basketball Team is Set to Start Their 16th and Final NCAA Season this Saturday, November 8th.
The Ravens, led by Head Coach Ryan McGee '16 and assisted by Kyle Lafferty '17 and Brian Mangam for the second season. McGee, a Rosemont Alumni graduated in 2016, played on the team before persuing his Master's degree while being a Graduate Assistant at Hofstra University. McGee is aiming to bring a culture shift to the Ravens, with a family focus and home feel to the team. The coaching staff has been pushing the team to practice as they play, and bring the intensity. Rosemont welcomes back four returners from last season to the squad, #1 Senior
Zaki Gomez starting 24 of 25 game for the Ravens last year with his last three games of the season slashing 11.3 pts/ 5 reb/ and 4.3 ast. #3 Guard
Chris Taylor, who brings the teams' intensity and energy. #4 Senior
Brandon Moore, who can stretch the floor and be a true threat on both ends for the Ravens. #10 Senior
Dallas Wilder, brings the defensive intensity for the Ravens providing key minutes for the Ravens over the years. The Ravens welcome eight newcomers, including transfers, #2

Jaylen Mason returning after a year away from the program.
Rosemont is slated to welcome the Gywnedd Mercy Griffins this Saturday November 8th in Alumnae Hall at 1pm. The Griffins, welcome new head coach Darnell Artis, who graduated from Gywnedd in 2016. Coach McGee looks forward to the match up stating "We have a lot to prove as a family. We have a staff and roster of guys who are hungry and ready to shock the world. Everyone apart of our family has been a major part of the culture change & while it's only for one final year, they are awesome to be around and coach. I'm excited and sad for the final home opener ever, but as we continue to preach everyday… "we are winners, we're going to win" - Head Coach Ryan McGee.
