Bryn Mawr, PA | Rosemont College Welcome The Dolphins to The Rosemont Athletic Complex:
How It Started: Starting in goal for the Ravens was #28 Andrew "Juice" Menold
The Ravens came out strong, with #9 Kody Lubischer opening the scoring, and #26 Greg Wever adding another goal shortly after. However, Mt. St. responded scoring five unanswered goals in the first period to take a 7-2 lead. This forced Rosemont to play from behind for the remainder of the game.
Rosemont found momentum in the second and third periods, led by standout performances from #22 Navrro Blakes and #13 Jayden Hogg. Navarro Blakes sparked the offense with two unassisted goals, while Jayden Hogg added another to bring the score within striking distance. Greg Wever also contributed, scoring his second goal of the game off an assist from Navarro Blakes. Rosemont showed up in 3 quarter, cutting the lead to 12-8 by the middle of the third period, keeping the pressure on Mt. St. with quick counterattacks and strong individual efforts.
Rosemont couldn't complete the comeback as Mt. St. capitalized on key scoring opportunities in the final stretch. The Dolphins soon extended their lead to by two for the final score to be 15-8.
