Glenside, PA | The Ravens Traveled to Blankley Field to take on The Arcadia Knights in a double header.
How it Happened:
Game One: Starting pitching for the Ravens was #12 Josie Krieman.
The Knights would catch fire early versus the Ravens scoring three runs in the first inning. The Ravens would respond in the top of the second as
Olivia Hamme,
Bailee Greise, and
Rose Chando would all single with one out. Hamme would be thrown out trying to take home and score the first run for the Ravens. Rosemont would strand two runners in the inning. Arcadia would tally 16 runs in the bottom of the second inning versus the Ravens. Rosemont would fall in game one 0-21.
Game Two: Starting pitching for the Ravens was #32 Caitlin LaGreca.
LeGreca would get out to a strong start versus the Knights; starting the game with two scoreless innings to bring some momentum to the Ravens. In the top of the third inning
Josie Krieman would walk and steal second, followed by a single by Kendyl Strohl to score Krieman giving the Ravens a 1-0 lead. Arcadia would respond in the bottom of the inning scoring four runs to take a 1-4 lead, and build on their lead with five runs in the fourth. The Ravens would score two runs in the top of the fifth inning as Kendyl Strohl wopuld reach on a fielders choice followed by a double by
Bailee Greise putting runners on second and third for the Ravens with two outs.
Emilee Dickinson would single up the middle scoring Strohl and Greise as the Ravens trailed 3-9. Arcadia would close out Rosemont in the bottom of the sixth inning as the Ravens fell on the road 3-11.
What's Next?
The Ravens will be on the road this weekend as the travel to Williamsport, PA to take on Penn College in a non-confernce matchup. Go Ravens!
