Tim Shell got the start for the Ravens. Tyler Monzo, Brett Angelillo, Shane Lennon, Nick Vitale, Giuseppe Bentrovato, and Chase Masten all pitched for the Ravens. Lennon threw a scoreless frame and Bentrovato returned to the Varsity mound for the first time since the 2023 season. He lost the 2024 season to injury. 

The Ravens scored their first run of the game in the bottom of the second. After a leadoff walk by Samson Gerner and a single by Shane Lennon, the Ravens were in scoring position. Next up was Chase Masten who was hit by a pitch to load the bases. Gerner then scored on a wild pitch.  

In the bottom of the 6th, Lennon scored on an error, and short-stop Luke Franklin scored Masten on an RBI single. The Ravens were happy to welcome back senior captain Bobby DiDonato who suffered a leg injury in the first game of the season. 

Head Coach Ross Trachtenberg had this to say after the game: "This was a tough loss tonight. However, seeing two seniors, Bobby and Giuseppe, return to the field from what could have been career ending injuries was a bright spot. Both have overcome significant challenges to be back in uniform. I am very happy to see their extraordinary efforts pay off."

The Ravens take on Muhlenberg College on March 27th at 6:00pm. The game will be played at Heuser Park.
