Softball Drops two Games on The Road Versus Delaware Valley

Doylestown, PA | The Rosemont Softball Team Traveled to Doylestown to take on Delaware Valley on their home field.

How it Happened:
Game One: Starting pitching for the Ravens was #12 Josie Krieman.


Kendyll Strohl would lead off reaching base for the Ravens stealing second to get into scoring position. Emilee Dickinson would hit a double scoring Strohl to give the Ravens an 1-0 advantage going into the bottom of the inning. The Aggies would respond with a run in the bottom of the inning to tie the game. The Ravens would recapture the lead in the top of the second as Kendyl Strohl would reach with two outs, followed by a double by Maria Harrison scoring Strohl to give the Ravens a 2-1 lead. 
The Ravens would hold their lead until the bottom of the fourth inning as Delaware Valley would score two runs in the inning taking a 2-3 lead. The Ravens were unable to respond as The Aggies added onto their lead in the bottom of the fifth extending their lead to 2-5. Top of the seventh inning The Ravens would get runners on first and second with no outs but were unable to convert as they fell 2-5 to the Aggies.

Game Two: Starting pitching for the Ravens in Game Two was #32 Caitlin LeGreca.

Olivia Hamme would double for the Ravens in the top of the first with two outs but the Ravens were unable to bring her home. The Aggies would score two runs in the bottom of the second inning to take the lead over the Ravens. The Ravens offense would struggle to find hits in the game with singles coming from Emilee Dickenson and Kylee Kubitschek the Ravens would fall 0-12 after five innings.

What's Next?
The Ravens will be back at home this Saturday as they take on Valley Forged University at noon for a double header at the Ravens Athletic Complex.
