Ravens lose game 1 8-7 in extra innings
In Game One, David McKinney started on the mound for the Ravens. McKinney struck out 1 while tossing 3 innings. Alex Rausch and Tyler Monzo both came into relief for 1 inning. Justin Harrison closed out the last three innings of the extra innings game.
Offensively, the Ravens put up 10 hits and walked 7 times. In the bottom of the 5th inning, Jamen Palladino had a 3 run home run scoring Luke Franklin and Samson Gerner to make it a 6-4 ball game. In the bottom of the 6th Palladino had another RBI to bring the game within 2 again. Following that, Shane Lennon was hit by a pitch to bring in another run making it a 7-6 ball game. In the bottom of the 7th, Nick Tanella had an RBI single to tie the game at 7 forcing extras.
Ravens win Game 2 6-5
Brett Angelillo started on the mound for the Ravens, tossing 4 innings while giving up 2. Out of relief came Nick Fratangeli who tossed 2.2 innings and got his first win of his career.
The Ravens would take the lead in the fourth inning and go up 3-2. McKinney had an RBI double to make it a 2-1 game. Lennon and Brandon Peake would then have back-to-back RBI singles to give the Ravens the 3-2 lead. In the bottom of the 5th, McKinney had another RBI, while Peake had a 2 RBI single of his own giving the Ravens a 6-5 lead.
