Ross Trachtenberg was named the Director of Athletics for Rosemont College on August 1st. He takes over the position for Kathleen DeLitta who recently accepted a position with the East Coast Conference.
Trachtenberg has been a member of the Rosemont Community since the fall of 2020 when he was hired to start the Baseball Program for the College. In addition to coaching the baseball team during the entirety of the program's existence, Trachtenberg has taught Sport Management and Accounting classes and advised undergraduate Sport Management majors.
Trachtenberg earned his bachelor's degree from Lehigh University as an accounting major. He completed a master's degree in Sport Management at Drexel University and will earn his Master of Business Administration from Rosemont at the end of August 2025.
Trachtenberg reflected on this most recent appointment by saying: "I want to thank President Jim Cawley for having the faith in me to take on this significant role at Rosemont during this time of transition. Athletics is a central part of so many of our students' experience at Rosemont and I am honored to help guide them and our Athletics Staff through this last year of Rosemont Athletics as a NCAA program."
Trachtenberg resides in King of Prussia, PA with his wife Lori, daughter Claire, and son Casey.
