Philadelphia, PA| The Rosemont Ravens Baseball Program Opened up Their Season versus Delaware University Aggies at DeVincent Field on LaSalle University Campus.

Tim Shell made his final first start Ravens, as they finally opened up their season on a clear sunny day in Philadelphia. The Aggies bats came out hot, as they tallied four runs in the first two innings, bringing in Lars Greenlee. He would settle in fast, striking out the first batter and followed with a clean rest of the inning. The Ravens offense, was held hit less through four, as Greenlee held the deficit.

Gary Kroll led off the fifth reaching on an error, followed by freshman
Caiden Spinelli with a single putting two on with no outs for Rosemont.
Ryan Bowman reached on an error to load up the bases. Freshman
Brody Lykes came through for Rosemont with an RBI single,
Isaac Bugman followed with another single to bring Rosemont within two runs to end the fifth.
    The Aggies got to Greenlee in the sixth as he allowed one before
Patrick McCalister came out of the pen in relief. McCalister held the Ravens deficit at three giving them a chance in the bottom of the seventh.
Tahj Wilson reached on an error by the Aggies, followed by another single by Bugman putting two on with one out. The Ravens were unable to bring the boys home falling to the Aggies in game one 2-5.
Game Two: One the hill for the Ravens in game two was
Carson Pence.
  Pence let up an early double in the first, but was able to settle in only allowing one run through two innings.
Gary Kroll would get the Ravens rolling with a single, followed by
Caiden Spinelli reaching on an error putting Rosemont in prime position with no outs. With runners on second and third, The Ravens were unable to score trailing by to runs after two. Pence continued to deal, keeping the Ravens in the game through four.
Brandon Peake led off the bottom of the fourth with a single followed by
Gary Kroll reaching on another error by the Aggies. Caden Spinelli continued to pound for the Ravens driving in their first run of the game with no outs. With runners in second and third the Ravens again were unable to score ending the fourth inning trailing by a run.Â
  The Aggies eventual got to Carson, as he hit three batter in the fifth, bringing in
Anthony Galli with the bases loaded. Galli was able to create weak contact, but the Aggies added three runs in the inning extending their lead to five. Rosemont did not put their heads down as they responded;
Isaac Bugman led off with a single, stealing second.
Joe Bentivegna walked, allowing
Brandon Peake to single driving in Bugman.
Gary Krolll singled, but Joe was thrown out from a throw from home. Caden Spinelli singled again scoring Peake as the Ravens brought the game back within two runs after five. Galli continued to pitch well for Rosemont holing the lead through the top of the sixth. James Rodies came in for the top of the seventh, allowing an early double, he settled in at the end of the inning striking out his final batter.
Joe Bentivegna tanked a ball off the left field wall with one out in the seventh, immediately stealing third trying to spark fire in the Ravens dugout. Peake brought him home with a RBI single., but it was not enough as the Ravens fell 4-7 in game two versus the Aggies.

What's Next?
The Ravens will be back at DeVincent Field tomorrow March 1st as they welcome The Marywood Pacers. First pitch will be at 11:30 AM
