King of Prussia, PA| The Rosemont Ravens Welcomed the Chargers of Lancaster Bible to Heuser Park for a United East Matchup.
Alex Rausch took the ball for the Ravens in game one. Allowing one in the first, Rosemont responded in the bottom of the inning.
Joe Bentivegna doubled with one out, followed by a single from
Brandon Peake.
Isaac Bugman drove in Bentivegna to tie the game at one through the first. The Chargers got to Rausch in the second, scoring three in the frame. He settled in for the third, striking out his final batter of the inning.
Lancaster scored two in the fourth, bringing
Larson Greenlee in relief of Rausch. In the bottom of the fourth,
Isaac Bugman doubled with one out, as Rosemont rallied with two outs to bring home Bugman and keep them in the game. Greenlee worked through the fifth, allowing no runs and facing six batters.
Justin Gonzalez came in for the sixth, trusting his defense to get three efficient outs.
The Ravens offense went cold as the Chargers rallied for eight runs in eight innings, as Rosemont fell to Lancaster, 15-2 in eight .
Anthony Galli got the start in game two for the Ravens. Going one, two, three in the first frame.
Rosemont got off to a hot start in the bottom of the inning. Masten and Bentivegna led off with singles as
Isaac Bugman and
Tahj Wilson followed with RBI singles to give the Ravens a 3-0 lead. Lancaster responded in the second, scoring three in the frame to tie the game.
The Ravens trailed in the fourth as
Chase Masten stayed hot with a single.
Brandon Peake singled to load the bases as Bugman stayed hot with another RBI, to cut the Chargers' lead.
Lacaster tallied nine in the fifth and continued to expand its lead over Rosemont. and defeat the Ravens on Senior day.
