La Plume, PA| The Rosemont Ravens Traveled to Keystone College, Taking on the Giants in a United East Matchup.

How it Happened:
Carson Pence got the start for Rosemont as they set off for game two of the season versus the Keystone Giants.

Chase Masten led the Ravens off with a walk in the top of the first, but Rosemont was unable to bring him home as Pence took the mound in the bottom of the inning. With two outs, the Giants would get on the board, scoring two runs, taking an early lead over the Ravens. Rosemont responded in the top of the second as
Caiden Spinelli led off with a single to left. With two outs,
Ryan Bowman came through with a single to left, driving home Spinelli to bring the Ravens within a run of the Giants (2-1). In the bottom of the inning, the Giants' offense caught fire as they scored five in the frame.

Solomon Denmark came in for the bottom of the third in relief of Pence. Denmark held the deficit throughout the frame, giving the Ravens some momentum into the fourth. Spinelli led off with a walk, followed by a walk from
Tahj Wilson.
Terrell Robinson walked with two outs to load the bases, but the Ravens were unable to cut into the Giants' lead. Keystone's offense got to Denmark, bringing in
Larson Greenlee with two down and one on in the fourth. Limiting the damage, the Ravens trailed 1-11 after four.
Joe Bentivegna tried to spark Rosemont's offense in the fifth, leading off with a single, but Keystone shut down the Ravens, expanding their lead in the bottom of the inning.

Gisella Schiano pinch hit for Bowman in the sixth with one out, singling on a base hit up the middle to center. The Ravens were unable to drive her home as
Yassine Zekkaria came in for relief of Greenlee in the bottom of the inning. Zekkaria, holding the Giants in the sixth, allowed Bentivegna to lead off the seventh with a single to left.
Brandon Peake followed with a triple to right, scoring Bentivegna and himself on the throw to put two more runs on the board for the Ravens. Rosemont fell to the Giants in seven, 3-14.

What's Next?

The Ravens will be back in action on Friday, April 10th, at Heuser Park. They will start their three-game home stand as they welcome Penn State Abington at 3:00 PM for game one of the two games they will play this season. Â
