The Associate Athletic Director for compliance is responsible for overseeing NCAA regulations, requirements, and the academic well-being of all student-athletes. Our mission is to offer personalized academic support and resources to meet the distinct learning needs of each student. Â
The purpose of monitoring academic progress is to make sure that graduation progress is being made, and that the NCAA and institutional regulations are being followed. Course selection for the student-athlete is based on graduation requirements and is overseen by their advisor(s). Â
Each student-athlete is responsible for registering and maintaining a minimum of 12 credits per semester and a total of 24 completed credits each academic year. A minimum GPA of 2.0 is necessary to remain eligible for athletic participation. Â
Â
The Associate Athletic Director also serves as a point of contact for the Rosemont Student Athlete Advisory Committee (RSAAC) and the Student Academic Success Center (SASC). Our goal is to give student-athletes the tools they need to ensure their safety and mental, physical, and emotional health. We want to create leaders who are self-assured and prepared to enter the workforce after graduation. Â
