Biography

I earned a BA in Secondary Education from SUNY New Paltz before pursuing my MFA at Rosemont College. Upon graduation in 2016, I obtained an adjunct position with Rosemont until I was promoted to full time status in 2019, where I currently serve as Assistant Professor of Writing. As a writing instructor, I find joy in helping students develop best practices in written communication while simultaneously boosting their confidence as writers.

In addition to teaching, I assist the college through my work on various committees and I am currently serving as Co-Chaplain of Rosemont’s baseball team, providing support for some of our student athletes. Outside of Rosemont, I continue to pursue creative writing. My poetry collection, Tootsie Land, was published in the summer of 2022. I also appease my inner grandma through my crochet business, Little Tootsie Designs, LLC.
