Julius Cooke

Julius Cooke is entering his first season as Assistant Coach with the Rosemont College Men's Basketball team this 2016-2017 season. Coach Cooke most recently worked at Harriton High School in Rosemont, Pennsylvania as the Head Junior Varsity Coach and Varsity Assistant Coach. While at Harriton he aided in preparation of practice and game plans, as well as leading scouting and Player Development efforts since the 2008-2009 season. Cooke coached Raven's senior Itay Levy and led the Rams to four straight District I playoff appearances.  

In summers since 2011, Cooke served as an Assistant Coach for the Philadelphia Maccabi 16U's Men’s team that won medals in 2012, 2013, and 2014. Additionally, Cooke has worked as a Camp Director and Assistant Director at the Philadelphia 76ers Camp and the Jesse Rappaport Basketball Camp.

Cooke has a wealth of knowledge about Philadelphia and Suburban basketball. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Villanova University in 2007. Cooke previously graduated from Haverford High School in 2001 where he was a seven-time varsity letterman in Basketball and Football.

Julius resides in Haverford Pa, where he is an active member of Saints Memorial Baptist Church in Bryn Mawr, Pa.  Julius is a part of the SMBC Men's fellowship and is on the Academic Scholarship Committee.
