Frank Farnese

Frank Farnese begins his first season at Rosemont College after coaching 13th seasons for the Neumann’s University women's basketball program through the 2017-2018 seasons.
 
Under Farnese’s leadership the Neumann University women’s basketball program won two consecutive Colonial States Athletic Conference titles during the 2009-10 and 2010-11 seasons. In 13 seasons, Farnese’s teams successfully made it to four CSAC conference championship games earning two NCAA tournament appearances and six ECAC South tournament appearances.

Coach Farnese has been recognized as the CSAC Coach of the Year twice; 2009-10 and 2010-11 seasons. Complementing his personal achievements, Farnese has seen several of his players recognized for personal awards and recognition as conference players of the year as well as All-American Honorable Mentions. During his tenure, Coach Farnese is most proud of his players accomplishments earning three conference rookie of the year awards, six conference player of the year awards, seven 1000 point scorers and three 20 wins seasons.
 
A native of Drexel Hill, Pa., Coach Farnese attended Monsignor Bonner High School. While at Monsignor Bonner he had the privilege of playing for former Lafayette men’s basketball college Fran O’Hanlon. He is a 1995 graduate of Neumann College with a degree in Education. As a dual sport athlete, Farnese was a four-year letterman in basketball and baseball for the Neumann Knights. He is a member of the Neumann Knights 1,000 point club, earning his 1,000th point on February 18, 1995, scoring 23 points against Allentown College.

Coach Farnese ended his collegiate career with 1,026 points making him the 8th all-time leading scorer in Neumann College men's basketball history. Farnese earned PAC All-Conference honors his senior year.
 
 
Coach Farnese is a Sales Executive for Brady IFS Company/Camden Bag Division. He resides in Quakertown, Pa. with his wife Miki and sons Quinn and Luke. His wife Miki attended Misericordia University where she was 2005 PAC conference player of the year for women’s soccer and inducted into the Misericordia Athletic Hall of Fame in 2016.
