Karen Flagg was hired as the Assistant Women's Basketball Coach at Rosemont College in September 2019. Flagg was a student-athlete at Daytona State College (FL/JUCO), earning all-region and all-conference accolades before graduating with an A.A. (Social Work) and transferring to finish school at Youngstown State University (OH/D1). At Youngstown State, Flagg was ranked sixth in the Horizon League in blocks per game and was named the Horizon League Newcomer of the Week .
Flagg graduated with a B.A. (Sociology) and head overseas to further her basketball career. Flagg had the opportunity to play in Netherlands, Spain, Morocco, and El Salvador. Flagg ended her basketball playing career to start coaching and training.
