Rosemont College welcomes Christina Floyd in her first season as the Women’s Basketball & Volleyball Head Coach for the 2023-2024.
Christina is a 2015 graduate from Pennsylvania State University (Greater Allegheny), where she gathered numerous accolades, including Female Student-Athlete of the Year (2013), First & Second Team All-Conference, All-Academic & First & Second Team All-American for both women’s basketball & volleyball programs. Christina obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a certificate in Sports Administration in 2015 from PSUGA.
In 2016, Christina was named Women’s Basketball Assistant Coach at Bryn Athyn College, where she focused on the team’s recruiting efforts & player development. That season, Head Coach Kayla Felty was named Coach of the Year, and the Lions recorded one of their best seasons yet, finishing 20-6 overall with a 16-4 conference record in the NEAC.
In 2017, Christina was the Graduate Assistant for Saint Francis University’s Women's Basketball program, a Division I contender within the NEC. During her time there, Christina was a part of support staff who assisted the team to a conference championship win and an appearance in the 2018 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament. Christina also received her Master’s in Business Administration with a specialization in Sports Management.
The following year, Christina was appointed the Women’s Volleyball & Basketball Head Coach position at Valley Forge Military College for one season. She then traveled to Manor College where she was the Women’s Volleyball Head Coach from 2020 to 2022.
Christina was born & raised in the South Philadelphia area & is also a 2011 alum of Saints John Neumann & Maria Goretti Catholic High School.
