SCRANTON – The Rosemont volleyball team played the home side closely in the first and third sets , but were ultimately defeated in straight sets by the host Marywood Pacers this evening by set scores of 25-18, 25-9, 25-18. The Raven's record now stands at 2-13 (1-3 CSAC). For the Pacers, their record improved to 6-5 (3-1 CSAC).

Eve Romanowski led the Ravens with seven kills on the night. Morgan Rollins added five kills for Rosemont. Rollins was also credited with three service aces, which was high for Rosemont this evening.

Leilani Carter chipped in with seven digs to lead the Ravens in that category. Carter and Romanowski combined on one block assist for the evening.

Lexy Mrongowius added 16 assists to lead both teams in that stat.

The Ravens remain on the road for their next challenge, although the road will be shorter. They are scheduled to play the Cairn Highlanders at Langhorne, Pa. on Saturday morning with the conference match slated for an 11:00am start.
