TOWSON, Md. – The Rosemont Ravens volleyball team were defeated twice this afternoon at a Tri-Match hosted by Goucher College. With the non-conference losses, the Ravens fell to 2-17 overall on the 2014 season.

Match 1 – Rosemont vs. Hood College

The Blazers won 3-0 by set scores of 25-14, 25-17, 25-12.

Leilani Carter led the Raven's attack with five kills. Nadirah Anderson and Eve Romanowski each added four kills. Romanowski also led the Ravens with nine digs, while Taylor Gasperi had eight.

Lexy Mrongowius assisted on 13 kills for the Ravens in this match.

Match 2 – Rosemont @ Goucher College

The Gophers took this match in three sets by scores of 25-12, 25-15, 25-14.

Romanowski again led the Ravens in kills with seven while Morgan Rollins added five kills for Rosemont. Nadirah Anderson was credited with 12 digs to lead the Ravens in that category. Romanowski earned two blocks in the game, one solo and one assisted with Leilani Carter.

The Ravens return to Alumnae Hall and to CSAC play when they will host the Mighty Macs of Immaculata University on Wednesday, 10/15. The match is scheduled for a 7pm start.
