ASTON, Pa. – Rookie Sabrina Heggan was credited with nine assists in today's match at Neumann University, giving her 339 assists for the season, and setting a new record for assists by a Rosemont player in a single season. The record was set last season by Lexy Mrongowius with 331 in the 2014 season.
As to the match, the Knights defeated the Ravens in straight sets by scores of 25-12, 25-12, 25-11. With the result the Ravens' record sits at 1-19 overall (1-9 CSAC). Neumann's record is now 12-17 overall (6-2 CSAC).
Leilani Carter led the Ravens with four kills in the match and Nadirah Anderson had 11 digs to set the high mark in the match for Rosemont in that category.
The Ravens will travel to Delaware Valley University on Saturday to participate in a non-conference tri-match. They will face William Paterson University at DelVal at 1pm, and will wrap up the day with a match against the Aggies at 3:00pm.
