Ravens Lose Double-Dip at Cabrini

RADNOR, Pa. – The Rosemont College volleyball team absorbed two losses tonight at the Nerney Field House, where Cabrini was hosting a tri-match with the Ravens and the Marywood Pacers. The Ravens lost their first match of the evening by a 3-0 set count to Marywood (25-10, 25-18, 25-14) and followed with a 3-0 loss to the host Cavaliers (25-7, 25-9, 25-10). As a result of tonight's results the Ravens fell to 1-14 overall (1-5 CSAC).

Match 1 – Marywood 3, Rosemont 0

Leilani Carter, Maria Athanasiadis and Morgan Rollins each scored four kills for the Ravens while Nadirah Anderson, Taylor Gasperi, Carter and Rollins were each credited with a block.

Match 2 – Cabrini 3, Rosemont 0

Morgan Rollins had five kills to lead Rosemont in this match, with Leilani Carter adding four more. Carter was credited with one block for the Ravens.

Rosemont returns home for their next contest, a non-conference match against King's College on Thursday, 10/8. The match is scheduled for a 5:00pm start.
