ROSEMONT – The Rosemont College volleyball squad worked hard tonight, but came up on the short end of a 3-0 decision against the visiting King's College Lady Monarchs by set scores of 25-15, 25-16 and 25-16. The loss dropped the Raven's overall record to 1-15, while King's improved to 15-6.
The Ravens turned in three solo blocks in the match, with one each from Nadirah Anderson, Leilani Carter, and Morgan Rollins. Carter led the Ravens with seven kills while Sabrina Heggan set up 15 kills for the home side. Anderson and Carter each had four digs for Rosemont.
The Ravens return to CSAC action for their next game when they travel to Hackettstown, NJ to face the Centenary Cyclones on Saturday, 10/10. The match is scheduled for a 1:00pm start.
