How It Happened

·         In the first quarter the Ravens fell behind by 10 points, trailing 16-6 with 3:55 left in the half. The Ravens rebounded for the rest of the half to outscore Gwynedd Mercy 9-3 to cut their deficit to only four points, 19-15 at the end of the quarter.

·         Rosemont would score the first four points in the first minute of the quarter to knot the game at 19-19. The Griffins would go on a 16-4 run to grab a 12-point lead with 4:13 remaining in the half, when ended with the Ravens trailing 43-35.

·         Rosemont would cut the Griffin lead to seven points after a Jasmyn Parker three-ball with 8:39 left in the 3^rd quarter, but the visitors would follow with an 8-1 streak to put the Ravens behind 53-39 with under six minutes left in the quarter. Trailing by as many as 17 points, the quarter would end with the Ravens trailing 62-48.

·         Early in the 4^th quarter the Ravens trimmed the deficit to 11 points, trailing 66-55 with 8:16 remaining in the game, but the Griffins would put together an 11-0 run to take final control of the game, leading by 22 points with 4:10 left on the clock.

Ravens' Top Performers

·         Jasmyn Parker scored 14 points to lead the Ravens in scoring.

·         Carly Hislop and Alliya Austin hit double-figures, each scoring 11 this afternoon.

·         Brianna Macauley grabbed 12 rebounds to lead both teams in the paint

For the Griffins

·         Charlotte Kucowski shot 9-for-15 from the field, ending the game with 25 points, the game's leading scorer. Kucowski just missed a double-double, credited with nine rebounds.

·         Olivia Bradford shot 6-for-11 from the field and ended up with 15 points.

·         Chandler DiFebbo and Julianna Hoisington each hit for 12 points.

Stats of the Game

·         The Ravens committed five more turnovers than the Griffins (19 vs. 10), as the Griffins outpointed the Ravens 17- on points off of turnovers.

·         The Griffins hit for 50% from the field in the second half, and shot 47.7% from the field overall compared to the Ravens' 35.2%.

·         The Griffins were credited with 15 steals compared to Rosemont's four.

·         The Ravens will take on non-conference teams in their next two games, starting with the Wesley College Wolverines on Monday, 1/11. The game at Alumnae Hall will begin at 7:00pm.
