How It Happened

The Rosemont volleyball looked to wrap up the home portion of their schedule with a win tonight in Alumnae Hall, but the visiting Gators of Notre Dame University of Maryland had other plans. The Ravens fell tonight in straight sets by scores of 25-10, 25-14 and 25-10.

The first set saw Notre Dame jump out to a 11-1 lead. Then they took 14 of the next 23 points to close out the set. Set number two was the most competitive for the Rosemont as they held a 8-6 lead at one point, but the Gators found their footing and went on a 19-6 run to end the set. The third set once again saw Notre Dame run out to an early lead at 16-4. The Ravens would win a few more points, but in the end did not have enough to overcome the hot start falling 25-10 to end the match.
