How It Happened

Bryn Athyn got the match off to a big start over the Ravens, sweeping all three doubles matches to go up 3-0 going into the singles matches.

The Ravens needed to win five of the six singles matches to win the day, but they came up short, winning two singles matches. Vito DiSanti won his match in straight sets (6-2, 6-4) in the #1 flight. The other winning singles point came from Luca DiFranco in the #4 flight in what was a very tight contest (5-7, 7-6 (10-6), 10-8). Dan Suarez played well in the #2 singles flight, but came up on the short side of a 3-6, 2-6 result. Jim Finney also was competitive in the #5 flight, but Bryn Athyn's player won (6-2, 6-2).

The team will host Penn State – Berks on Monday, 3/21 in a non-conference match. The match is scheduled for a 3:30pm start.
