Rosemont Golf Partners With Concord Country Club as Home Course
ROSEMONT, Pa. – Effective with the 2016/2017 season, Rosemont Athletics is pleased to announce that its Golf program has entered into an agreement with the Concord Country Club, making "Concord," located in West Chester, Pennsylvania, the home course for the Rosemont program.

Several prominent members of the Golf Association of Philadelphia and the Concord Country Club have welcomed the Ravens after learning of the Concord Country Club hosting Rosemont College's golf program.

Edward Brzezowski, Golf Association of Philadelphia Executive Committee Member and Concord Country Club Member -- "The club is very proud of the opportunity to assist Rosemont College and promote college level golf in the Philadelphia area. Our members are very enthusiastic about this opportunity and are looking forward to a long relationship."

Mike Moses, Head Golf Professional -- "Along with the club and our membership, the golf professional staff is looking forward to the addition of Rosemont College this fall and moving forward.  We are hoping that the players from Rosemont will serve as 'Role Models' for the Garnet Valley HS team that already calls Concord home.  The golf staff is ready to help out if and when needed."

Bill Dwyer, Club President -- "Concord is thrilled to have begun this partnership with Rosemont Golf.  It is an additional way we can support the community and continue to help in growing the great game of golf."

John Manos, Rosemont College Head Golf Coach -- "I'm thrilled to be able to have our program call Concord home. This is huge for our golfers to be able to play and practice at a club of Concord's caliber. Concord has a phenomenal golf course, that has only gotten better in recent years, and we can't wait to get out there and get going."

History of Concord Country Club

Concord Country Club was established in 1927 by William Flynn. Flynn designed several other prominent courses in southeast Pennsylvania, including Huntingdon Valley Country Club, Lancaster Country Club, Philadelphia Country Club, and the Rolling Green Golf Club.

Concord hosted a United States Senior Open qualifier in 2009, and a United States Junior Amateur qualifier in 2015.

The country club will play host to one of the region's most prestigious amateur events in 2017 when the Golf Association of Philadelphia's Patterson Cup will come to Concord.
