How It Happened

The Ravens played the home side closely tonight, but were eventually swept in three sets by the Nittany Lions.
 
In the first set the Ravens were knotted at 12-12 with PSU-Brandywine before being outscored 13-7 the rest of the set. In set number two, the team started slowly, trailing 11-2, before crafting a big comeback to tie the score at 21-21. Unfortunately for the Ravens, PSU-Brandywine rallied to score the final four points of the set to take the 25-21 decision. In the final set the Ravens again battled closely with their opponents, tied 13-13, but the Ravens were out-pointed 12-3 the rest of the way to drop the final set, 25-16.
