Rosemont Loses to Griffins in Conference Opener

How It Happened

The Ravens put together some good, competitive rallies and streaks tonight against the host Gwynedd Mercy Griffins, but the home side proved to be too much tonight for the Ravens to win their first CSAC game of the season.

In set one, down 6-4, the Griffins put together a run of 19-6 to take control of the opener. The Ravens opened up the second set with a 4-1 lead, but Gwynedd would tie the match at eight points apiece. Rosemont would stick their beaks back in front to take a 10-9 lead, but the Griffins would construct a 13-3 run to take control of the middle set. In set number three, the Griffins opened up with a 6-0 lead and never looked back.
