Ravens Fall Short Against Griffins

Final Results

ROSEMONT, Pa. – The Rosemont Ravens men's tennis squad were defeated at home today in a CSAC match by the visiting Griffins of Gwynedd Mercy University by a set score of 9-0.

The day started off with doubles, where Rosemont's #3 flight featuring John Crozier and Josh Dawicki came up to the edge, but couldn't forge ahead, falling 6-8 to the Griffins. In the #1 doubles Luis Castillo and James Finney put up a good battle, but also came up short by a 4-8 result.

With the Ravens trailing 0-3 after the doubles, they were shut down in the singles matches with the closest match coming out of the #6 flight, where Dawicki was defeated 3-6, 3-6.

The Ravens continue play on Monday when they will travel to Neumann for a CSAC match against the Knights beginning at 3:30pm.
