Ravens Fall to Lions in Season Finale

Final Results

BRYN ATHYN, Pa. – The Rosemont men's tennis team ended their season with a 3-6 defeat at the hands of the host Bryn Athyn Lions this afternoon. With the result the Ravens end their season with an overall record of 0-13, while the Lions moved up to 2-4 overall.

In today's back-end of the home-and-home matches against the Lions, the Ravens once again won one doubles match. Nick Tortorella and Kaushik Dhanyamraju won the #2 flight, 8-6.

Needing five wins in the singles to win the overall match, the Ravens took two singles matches. Luis Castillo won in a tie-breaker comeback in the #2 flight after losing the first set (4-6, 6-4, 10-5). Kaushik Dhanyamraju won his third straight singles match, 6-0, 6-2, in the #4 flight.
