CENTER VALLEY, Pa. -
Keith Blassingale scored a team-high 24 points and was one of four Rosemont players in double figures on the night. It wasn't enough, however, to keep the Ravens from dropping a non-conference game by a 100-89 margin Tuesday night to DeSales University in the Lehigh Valley.
The Ravens (0-3) received a double-double from
Jalil Myers, who scored 19 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. Myers has posted double figures in points and rebounds in all three of Rosemont's games to this point. Blassingale was 9-of-13 from the floor and 6-of-8 from beyond the 3-point line.
Jacob Simonson (15 points) and
Basil Thompson (11 points) also scored in double figures for the Ravens on Tuesday night.
Rosemont held a 10-point lead midway through the second half, but the Bulldogs- playing their home opener after dropping a game to Princeton on Friday night- received 29 points from Tracy Simsick to go along with 17 from Julian Wing, 13 from Ben Pratt and 12 each from Mike Bealer and Keba Mitchell.
The Ravens are back in action on Saturday afternoon when they travel to Haverford College for a non-conference contest, starting at 2 p.m.
